  1. We didn't get the freezing rain but we got plenty of rain the last 3 days and there's rain forecast for today & tomorrow. So it's like spring here -- because there ground squishes when you walk and where it doesn't squish, it's because you're sinking into mud.

  2. Sounds awful but it is better than black ice. I hate that more than anything else.

    1. I'll take mud & rain over any kind of ice any time.

  3. Fantastic! Love your ripple reflections. And the colour of your rocks. :)

Glad you didn't get any of that nasty ice rain.

    1. Got lots of water in the creeks for ripples with rain for the last 6 days but no ripples because we've also had no sun for the last 6 days. And everyday for the next 7 days is either rain or most cloudy. :(

    2. Well that sucks. Par for the course for this time of year though heh.

    3. The overcast skies are but not all this rain. I guess I should be grateful it's been rain & not snow or I'd be looking out the window at glaciers like you.

  4. Afternoon Andi,

It has been spring like down here. I think our high is supposed to be 68 today. I've had to be out a good bit, so I'm glad it hasn't been so cold.

    Take care,

    Whit

    1. Howdy Whit. I imagine even in Alabama 68 is pretty warm for January.

    2. Yep for January it is pretty warm. If it stays like this through FEB. I shudder to think what JUL and AUG will be like.

    3. That is a scary thought. Not quite as warm here but we've been in the 40s & now we're heading toward the 50s & low 60s (!).
