  1. Turned on the computer and the first thing I see is that Debbie Reynolds died. Right after losing Carrie Fisher.

Somehow that sums up 2016 for me.

    1. Yep but it does make a good reason to watch Carrie be brilliant in When Harry Met Sally & Debbie be amazing in Singin' in the Rain. So there's that as a something of a solace.

  2. Morning Andi and belated morning to you Dina,

I usually read a lot, but I've been going crazy with the Amazon Fire that my B-I-L and Sister gave me for Xmas. I've started with old books that I read years ago and wanted to read again. Some people can't re-read a book, but some of my favorites I've re-read 5 or 6 times. That includes the 10 pound novels I have. As for the Amazon Fire, all I can say is I do love my toys. This should keep my occupied for a good while. :)

    Hope everyone is fine.

    Take care.

    Whit

    1. What a great gift. No wonder you had such a happy Christmas. :D

I've really come to like reading ebooks. It's so handy to have all your books so handy (I read on both my iPad mini & my phone). And with libraries having ebooks now, there's a lot I can read for free.

    2. Hey Andi thanks for mentioning ebooks and the library. I had forgotten our had them. Now that I can get out again, I will be going back to the library. However, I am a little confused on how I'll get them from the library, but I know I'll figure it out. ;)

    3. Every library does it a little differently so probably the best thing is to go to the library help desk and have them help you set it up.

  3. It's kind of hard to say Happy New Year to 2017 but I'm gonna do it anyway:

    Happy New Year!

  4. Andi! It's not hard at all. After 2 hours of getting off the floor and finally into my chair, I'm more than happy. It's such a good day!

You and Jim have a great day!
