  1. We're leaving Glacier and going to Theodore Roosevelt National Park which borders the town of Medora, North Dakota (which is where these pictures were taken).

  2. Morning Andi,

For the first time after looking at you pictures, I did something new. I went to google earth and looked at the place. I feel like I know it a little better now. Actually it looks so desolate. I don't know if I could live there without any trees.

    Hope everyone is well today.

    Take care.

    1. It's not just absent trees, it's pretty much absent people (Medora's population is 112 & the whole, very huge county has less than 1,000 folks in it).

Anyway, I agree. It's a fascinating landscape to visit but I could never live there.

  3. I love the one that looks like liquid gold. Well, I love them all but that one just really grabbed me.

And I have air conditioning again!!!

Note that the last one has a rainbow in it (of to the left). Here's a close up that Jim took of it:

  5. Morning Andi,

Yours and Jim's pictures are great, and the rainbow - magnificent.

Another hot one down here today, and we're not even into Aug. Oh well.

    Take care.

    1. Gorgeous place & just across the border from Canada (actually you don't have to cross the border since Waterton is just as spectacular).
