  1. Dropping by but not always sticking around -- we've got lows in the 20s forecast 3 times this week. I'm bummed & I'll bet the wildflowers and leaf buds are too.

  2. Morning Andi,

On Friday we're getting down pretty low too - 39. I guess I'll have to break out my parka and boots. Of course, with this fixator all I can wear is gym shorts, so I'll have to brave the almost freezing weather, fight the cold winds annnddd --- wait a minute, I'm not on the tundra. Ha!

Green will be coming your way soon which will make its arrival all the more wonderful. BTW that's a great picture.

    Take care.

    1. The poplar trees have little baby leaves. I hope the below freezing temps over the few nights don't hurt them.

  5. Morning Andi,

I called yesterday to the Dr's office and the VA about the pin removal. It appears after everything seemed set to go that there's problems at the Dr's office and the VA. Today I'm waiting for a call from both to see if it's still a go. Still keeping a good attitude though. I was laughing about it yesterday with my brother. Don't know why really, but......

I hope you, Candis and Dena get your Spring soon.

    Take care.

  6. Morning Andi,

I see the green is starting to get there. It won't be long now.

Your fingers crossed must have worked. As of today everything is a go. I have to go to the city today to have blood tests and other things done before I get the pins out Thursday. On Thursday I have to be ready to go back to the city by 4:00 am. I told them if necessary I would camp out overnight in the waiting room and sleep in my wheelchair. I think they got the message. :)

Hope everyone has good and warmer day today.

    Take care.

  7. Morning Andi,

I'm off to a great adventure this morning. Everything is sunny - well actually it's dark outside right now. However, after the pins are out and I wake up the birds will be singing and the sun shining - well actually again I'll be inside a hospital and won't hear any birds or see the sun, but, but, but.... I'm having second thoughts about this now. :)

If I'm lucky they'll send to over to rehab today. If so I'll be out of touch for awhile. If not I'll see ya tomorrow.

    Everyone have a good day.

    Take care.

    1. Good luck! We'll be thinking of you and hoping not to hear from you because you're in rehab (but we'll miss you).
