  1. We got the snow but the weather gods were feeling a bit merciful and we only got an inch instead of the 2-6 inches (not so merciful south of us where some places got around a foot). But their mercy is pretty limited as the high today is forecast at 20 and the low at -2. -2 on March 5th! :(

  2. It's >10° over the forecast low (and high) this morning. I don't know if that means the cold front stalled out or what. They have "wintry mix" for tonight, but now I'm not sure that'll happen.

But… "whether it's cold or whether it's hot, we're gonna have weather, whether or not."

  5. Walp, we ended up with about 6" here in my neighborhood, more in the 'burbs. Thank all the powers that be that it's Friday and I don't have to bestir myself until Monday, when evidently, the high will be near 60F and the snow will be mostly melted.

    Currently 14F.

  7. We woke up to a dusting of snow/sleet. I was a little cautious driving, but it was already up to 31F by the time I left for work. Didn't run into anything icy.

    1. Oh, and tomorrow I get to cut up some downed trees and branches around the manor. The pines will go to the campsite for the fire ring; hardwoods for our own woodpile.

    2. The only upside to ice storms -- lots of easy to get firewood.
