  1. And I can tell the kid on the left is a teenager because it doesn't want to be seen next to the family but is okay hanging out with the cat. :)

Lucky us -- we did get a bit of freezing rain but then it actually got warmer overnight and all of it melted. Still talking about a chance of freezing rain and snow today but no ice accumulation.

  2. Yesterday was one of those days. I was up at 4:00 and could not get back to sleep. Terrible day outside but the door people came and installed my new garage door. The car is back inside where it belongs and I am tired but happy.

Andi, love both pictures but particularly the family!

  3. Starting tomorrow we have a week of above freezing daytime temps, some in the 40s. I guess that's the upside of winter: it doesn't take much to make you feel like you're having really good weather.

  4. Weird winter continues here, with freezing temps today, but moving to almost springlike by Sunday, go figure.

Just heard that one of my coworkers is leaving to go work for a company in the USVI. Jealous, nah, not me... :)

    Love the Fungus Family portrait.

    1. I was going to try to cheer you up by pointing out the lack of active volcanoes in D.C. but it doesn't look like the USVI has any either.

  5. LOL, yeah. I'm envious of him, but in reality, I couldn't live on tropical island since I can't actually be out in the sun bc I break out into hives. Glad for him there are no volcanoes. ::g::
