  1. Morning all. I slept better last night -- hope you all did too.

And it really does make me hopeful to see these bits of new green on the ground.

  2. I'm probably going to jinx it, at least for me, but when I get home I'm getting some tomato plants (Romas) to stick in the ground. Oh, BTW, my brother weaseled out of last night with the ol' work excuse. He says today for sure. It worked out though; girlies wanted to make a run to Target, and they got to.

Daughter Dearest says the wifi at these cottages goes to crap promptly at 8:07am. On the other end, it seems to start easing up around 11. Undaunted, my A to Z blogging challenge is under way. (It helped that I pre-loaded the A through M posts before we left.)

  3. Yes to the sleep, hoorah! I am, however, suffering from beach envy, thanks to Larry. Not that I can *actually* hang out on a beach as I break out in hives in the sun, but I can dream. :)

This week is full of extremely boring tech documentation that is full of jargon - not something we normally do (the jargon part), but we're trying to get certified in SOC2 (boring) and I've been dragged onto the team to help finish documentation/evidence gathering b/c the guys who were in charge of this (a) didn't finish and (b) left the company (for other reasons). It's been in the works for the better part of 2 years now and I'm tearing my hair out over the not-plain-Englishness of it.

OTOH, I have tickets for the 8 pm showing of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier tomorrow (opening) night, where there will be pretty, pretty people (including moar Black Widow!) and lots of action/adventure. Plus, I get to have dinner with a work buddy & see a movie, then sleep in on Friday.

    Happy Spring Wednesday!
