  1. Wah, wah. There is snow on the ground ... just a dusting but still horrible. And tonight it's going to be in the mid-20s and there are wildflowers and not-yet unfurled ferns and even tiny leaves on some of the poplars. I hope they aren't damaged. Wah, wah.

  2. I'm wondering if the flowering cherry will get clobbered. We're getting down to 32 with patchy frost tonight. Looks like we might be done with the rain, though.

  3. Lovely photos.

We've gone from 80F back down to freezing with snow covering the yard and we've had two internet outages and this chronic illness flare is especially painful and our entire government is full of psychopathic clowns and I suppose it's rude of me to roll up in here and be even whinier than Andi so let me put a lid on it.

Wishing you all the best week possible, all things considered. :)

  4. Ugh. There is way too much ugh in the world (especially painful flare-ups).

On the upside, Saturiday Orphan Black returns!

    1. Yes it does, and I've been wondering whether you and/or Mary are interested in doing recaps-and-chats again or whether that got played out during the first season. I lurk at a couple of tv forums and I really enjoy the rehashing of plots and scenes and omg wtf did they just do, which was originally why I put that blog template together. Then I discovered nearly immediately that I had zero interest in blogging about television for a general audience, as it made a relaxing thing feel too much like work, and that I am only motivated to blog episodes in order to be entertained by chats with my clever, witty friends. ;p

    2. And your friends are motivated to chat by your clever, witty recaps and insights. So I am definitely up for doing the blog again. I can get on Twitter and ask Mary about it.

    3. All right, well then me and you are on for next Sunday-afternoon/evening...ish. Anyone else (I can't believe I forgot the clever, witty contributions from Mr. F) (this flare has turned my brain into a sieve) who's interested in talking around season two of Orphan Black with us is Officially Invited to click on the name-hotlink in my comments header and come on over to join the chat a day or so after the first episode airs. :)

  5. I empathize with flare ups - after my procedure on Friday, which went great, I basically spent the next 3 days in pain. Bah. Doing the regular mime thing today but am unhappy with the weather.

Hooray for Orphan Black - I probably won't join up as I usually don't watch things as they air, but I'm so excited for its return!

  6. Gorgeous shots. But what is that stuff that looks like liquid ice?

    1. All the photos are of the same effect -- light caught in ripples where the water is shallow and clear so the rocks underneath are visible.
