  1. The forecast for snow/sleet/freezing rain has now become all snow -- 5 to 10 inches of it. I always say I'd rather have snow than freezing rain so I guess the mixologist is just being nice. I know you're in this storm's path too, Jen -- hope you, E, and the kitties get through it okay. And same to everybody else in its path.

  2. Gorgeous images!

Our forecast for tonight says ice pellets and then "wintry mix", which, I have learned, is a euphemism for winter's extending both of its middle fingers directly in our face. I'll probably have to plug the car back in, but it's so groovy to have that option instead of the anxiety over whether it won't start. Our first grocery delivery also comes today so there will be fresh food appearing from the ether.

Maria, I hope your shoulder feels better soonest. I can sympathize as I've been dealing with the same sort of thing in both of mine for the past year solid (although in my case I think it is likely the early onset arthritis that runs in my dad's fam) and the pain + limited mobility = THE SUCK.

Wishing you all a safe warm day.

    1. "Wintry mix" always makes me think it's one of those prepackaged drink mixes. "Just add peppermint schnapps!"

    2. Let it schnow, let it schnow, let it schnow...*minty fresh hiccup*

  3. Today is beautiful but tomorrow is more snow. On top of the 6 to 9 inches already there. Sigh.

  5. Snow's started. But the mixologist doesn't care about me after all -- the cocktail is back to including freezing rain and sleet. :(
