  1. Morning all. They've dropped the snow amoun from 2 to 4 inches t to 1 to 3 but added in a chance of freezing rain. Hope all of you who got clobbered by the winter storm are doing okay.

  2. Beautiful photo. We've had a lot of that wet sticky snow this season.

I am so irritated about getting yet more snow tonight, but it's only supposed to be a couple inches so hopefully the forecast is right. Hopefully it is also right about next week being full of 45F+ temps, including a predicted 60F for Thursday (!!!), because right now anything over 40F would make me want to do the Naked Dance of Welcome Back Spring out in the yard. (I mean, I won't, I'm just sayin, I WOULD.)

Hope you're all warm and powered and well fed. And wearing something if you go outside to dance, cause ain't nobody getting out of jail free even on V-Day. Good day to you all!

    1. I'm trying not to feel bad about the snow because it's seems petty after what's happening to the eastern US but damn I am really sick of winter. I cannot wait for those warm temps -- I don't even care about the muddy paws I'll have to deal with.

  4. After waking up to 6" of snow on the ground yesterday, it got into the 40s here and stuff started melting pretty darn quick. The roads were mostly clear, but I suspect they have a glaze of ice on them right now. It's 30, so it should thaw soon enough.

So yay, I'm going to brave going into the mimes today and picking up a VD gift for the wife on the way home.

  5. Happy Lupercal to all, watch out for the flayed goat skins! Waves from here in the heart of punchy land. The pic is lovely, and makes me want to go snowshoeing.

  6. 13.5 inches of snow here and more for tomorrow. Sigh.
