  1. We ended up with about 4-5 inches of snow (sleet makes it hard to tell), an inch or two of sleet, and a skim of freezing rain. Should make for an interesting walking and driving experience.

  2. "All in a rush" would describe my mornings this week. After all the snow days and jury duty days and everything else days, it seems like it's been a while since I've had to take Mason to pre-K. Today was better; I woke up and got him moving, and we got there in good order. It helps to not fart around on Twitter & the blawgs, too.

Ironic, with all the stuff you guys up north are getting, that I did a round of paper edits on Into the Icebound yesterday. I guess since you guys really are icebound for a day or so, I'll go over it again. Maybe it'll thaw.

  3. Andi, I do not envy you. We've got a slick of ice on side roads/parking lots. Getting to my car was rather interesting this a.m., though it's warming up and the rain is winning.

    So. Ready. For. Spring.

  4. So if I go over to the barometer and hold onto the needle really really tightly, these godawful pressure changes will stop, right?

  5. Beautiful - love the soft/pastel, warm colours you have in the rocks there. So very pretty with the foamy water.

I'm really tired of winter. :(
