  1. I set up this post up several days ago but it turns out to be perfectly in sync with today's weather (except that there's a lot more snow now than on 11/12). Happy Saturday all.

  2. Our snow has turned to rain and now I have a new definition of slush pile: what happens to 10 inches of snow when there is a steady rain and above freezing temps.

  3. The snow is here and is supposed to last all weekend. I am glad not to go out though I am very glad that I was able to pick up the new car yesterday before the snow came!

  4. Enjoy the new car, Dina (once the snow is over)!

  5. Between rain, taking care of the gimpy wife, work, the usual holiday crazy, and just the regular stuff of life, I wonder how I've managed to stay weird. Or launch a book, for that matter. We did run out of firewood on Friday. I'd love to have Kelly's problem: being able to sideline everything else to get the writing done. Here's it's the opposite. :-P Today is going to be a vortex of crazy, the church cantata is tonight, and DD and I will be elbowing each other in the kitchen to get stuff made for the dinner afterwards. Maybe things will let up this week, eh? (ha.)

I'm just glad I don't have to add snow/slush and new carpeting on top of all that.

  6. Larry, the cover on the new book looks great. Great timing to bring it out at the same time as the dragon themed Hobbit installment.

Speaking of installments, I put up another piece of my mom's writing in the "An Unpublished Writer" series.

  7. Thanks, Andi. The snow appears to have stopped so the slush will begin.

Jim, I love that story - it reminded me of the penny candy in the grocery store by my grandmother!
