  2. Hey, y'all… just a drive-by. Plenty of exercise this morning, trying to get The Boy out of bed.

  6. Brrrr. 16 degree here.

I liked the Doctor Who 50th anniversary show a lot. John Hurt was fantastic and the 3 doctors together was really well done. I think the biggest surprise for me was how great Billie Piper was as the Moment -- she made that character get to me in a way that she never did as Rose. And the little Tom Baker (still my favorite doctor) cameo at the end was a lovely touch.

  7. Brrrr. Same here. I'm still wearing my fleece robe at 10:00 - don't want to get dressed and go out until it hits at least 20.

I liked the 50th anniversary show a lot too. I was worried because my faith in Moffatt was shaken the last few seasons, but this was very well done. And yes! I agree about Billy Piper. By the time Rose left the show I was so ready for her to go. But she did a great job as the Moment channelling Bad Wolf Rose. It was strange, the whole show I kept thinking how much I MISS David Tennant. But then how would realize how much I love Matt Smith. I want to go back and watch the last David Tennant episode and see how they fit this in with that - there was a line on Gallifrey that the counsel was meeting separately than the war counsel that we saw here - so I'm guessing it all fits together. But what does the Doctor do when he finds Gallifrey and Timothy Dalton is still there in all his evil glory?

Tom Baker at the end was perfect. He's still my Doctor. :)
