Down in the Light

  1. Apparently all I have to do is say "infrequent rain" and our 30% chance of rain turns into 100% chance of 1 1/2 inches. Glad to have it, though, and the more that is supposed to be on its way later today.

  2. It's always good to know which magic words produce which effects.

    This picture looks like a frame from the opening scene of some kind of creature feature. It's gorgeous but ominous.* My brain keeps trying to find the lurking shark, heh.

    I've been doing too much lately and my legs and hips are complaining about it, so I think I'm going to take today off. Hope the rest of you have a good day and are able to slide safely into a shark-free weekend.
    *Is there an English word for that concept? I ran it through the reverse dictionary, and among other inapt suggestions, got "Denise Richards", which, haha, but no.
