  1. Well so much for not having any temps in the 90s in August. Ugh, I hate this kind of weather and it looks like it is going to continue well into September. :(

  2. It's not too bad for me (gratefully, still no summer flare, first time in almost 15 years, very encouraging) but I think E would gleefully trade me and most of the cats in for some late October temps right about now.

Speaking of the cats, it turns out that their work ethic standard (for others, natch) is quite the high bar. Any time I try to sit down and take some leisure, they take turns crying for attention, and a few of them even add a woobie in the mouth first to provide aren't-i-such-a-sad-and-pathetic-orphan visual effect. But the second I start housewifin' around, doing dishes, laundry, cleaning or cooking, they settle into a nap pillow or a birdwatching window as if all is right with their world. They are clearly agents of the catriarchy.

Wishing you all a good day, whatever you're up to.

  3. Waves from the busy world of the Lima. Hip deep into a very long tech doc at work which has kept me nose-to-grindstone for a few days.

I'm working @ the mimes from home today to get some focus.

Glad you've not had summer flare, Jen. I'm totally with E on the weather. We've gone back to our usual muggy heat with rainy afternoons.

    Hope you're all doing well.

  4. 89F tomorrow is the highest temp in the extended forecast. Weird. At least we're drying out for a few days. I even got to take the motorcycle to work yesterday!

Today was my mime at home day, but Windbeans blew one on the DSL and it died about 20 minutes before I'd planned to start my workday. So I'm at the mimes, an unhappy camper indeed. I'm hoping someone played with tech support today, because I couldn't do it from here.

Yay for no flares, Jen! The cats are likely an amusement by comparison, huh?
