  1. Morning Andi!

I take it you and Jim got back OK. Hope y'all had a good vacation. Good to have you home and I'm sure the dogs are more than happy to see y'all.

  2. Hi FM. The dogs were delighted to see up and we were delighted to see them. We had a great vacation but we're always happy to get home -- we miss the dogs, the house, and the woods so much when we are away.

Morning everybody. So nice to be woken up in your bed by a dog who wants to go out. Not quite so nice that Sniff's bladder wasn't still adjusting to 3 hour time change but I guess this will speed up my own adjustment.

  3. Welcome home! :)

  4. Welcome home, Fs!

I'm spending another quiet weekend at home, as per usual - watching Endeavour (ITV miniseries which is a marvelous visit to the early years of Inspector Morse). Also rewatching the original Morse series.

I read a couple of really great books yesterday: Under the Empyrean Sky by Chuck Wendig (SFF Young Adult) and Graveminder by Melissa Marr (contemporary fantasy/folklore type tale).

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  5. Welcome back, Fs. Can't wait to see pictures.

I am trying to spend less time on line and it does seem to be working nicely. I miss things but nothing vital. And going with Maria on the book rec - Ilona Andrews has a new Kate Daniels out which is wonderful.

    Happy weekend, all.

  6. Jen, that is hysterical.

Thanks for all the "welcome home" sentiments.

Slowly re-adjusting to the 3-hour time change. It always seems easier adjusting when you go to the earlier time zone than when you get back to the yours.

  7. Jen, I think they're going to need a bigger sonic screwdriver for that one. :-P

Finished the first editing pass for the co-op partner last night. I want to give it a second pass, though. Away from the computer, I got one of the bigass DeWalt drills working and ordered brushes for the others. New brushes, new power cords, and I'll have four more working. I plan to keep one & sell the others at $75 each, maybe a discount if some construction d00d wants all four.

Homecoming at church today. We'll skip the afternoon part, I think. Y'all have a quiet Sunday!
