  1. Morning all -- one filled with relief that the search for the 2nd bombing suspect ended with no one else being hurt.

Hope everybody has a fine Saturday. It's going to be much cool here but I don't think that will have much effect on the greening of the woods which is coming along beautifully.

  2. Hi all!

Today was a haircut, then Mason to the park, kind of day. Now I get to take him out back…

  3. Happy Saturday, everyone. Tired because I was out late last night at a Great Big Sea concert. They were wonderful!

  4. Lost my glasses here last night. Even checked at the game - even though they were just in car... I've checked the entire car with a flashlight. Just can't find them it's driving me batty.

Andi, I too am so glad they got and that's he's alive. No answers to this insane horror but there's a ton of questions to ask him. We wore our Boston Bruins jerseys to the game last night. We won. :) Game two is tonight.

  5. Morning all. Outlook here is chilly but greening -- trees are really getting serious about leafing out. Hope the glasses turn up, Janet.

  6. Wife is always misplacing her glasses. I've had my own hide for a few minutes, but they're usually wherever I was last sitting & reading (I have to take them off to read or use the laptop). Lately, she's been leaving them on a table we have perched between two recliners in the living room, so that's the first place she'll look for them.

Finally took the wife out to dinner. Of course, I didn't realize it was prom night in Suwanee, and the place I'd meant to take her was slammed. Hour & a half wait. Wife suggested checking out the Tilted Kilt across the highway. Neither of us realized it's an Irish-themed Hooters (she laughed when I said that), but the food was good. No waiting, because high school kids aren't going to crowd a bar where their IDs are going to be scrutinized. Sometimes, getting older has the occasional advantage. :-P But I'm still trying to decide whether the waitresses were wearing a flesh-tone body sock over that expanse of belly & back… the lighting & my eyes weren't cooperating, and I didn't want to stare TOO long (with the wife right there, anyway, har har). Personally, I would have… the place wasn't warm enough for what amounted to a halter top & a booty skirt.

  7. Given your exposure to the Tilted Kilt, I thought you'd like to know that the term "breastaurant" has been trademarked.
