  1. Morning all.

Getting to see my adorable great nephew this weekend (oh yeah and his parents) so I'm in cute overload land. Hope you all have a good weekend too.

And a Happy Easter to all who celebrate it.

  3. OMG. Winterhawks killed Everett last night 11-4! Tonight is game 5 and we are up 3 to 1. Gawd, I love playoff hockey. :) Wes is taking in some rainbow cupcakes I made. they're like giant happy pills. Very vibrant.

I use AmeriColor gel paste. It's so much fun and colorful. I'm taking some in later for my co-workers who are anxiously awaiting equality. :)

I didn't realize that I had planted dandylions all over my yard.

Yes, I'm very pleased with myself. Must be cool because Danni took some photos of them today and posted them on her tumblr and facebook.

  5. Hey Janet, are you sure you were't trying to so a cupcake model of the Cascadia Subduction Zone? Rainbow or geology, they're neat either way.

  9. Hi, all. Cool cupcakes!

Happy Easter for those who celebrate.

Whit, I can only leave comments if I use Opera. Neither Chrome or Firefox will let me. Very annoying.

  10. So, who watched the new episode of Doctor Who?

  11. Me! Me! And Jim.

I think I'm really going to like Clara -- as long as she stays snarky and doesn't get moony over the Doctor.

  12. I also think I'm really going to like her. I don't see them making her moony over the doctor, not with River running around the universe somewhere. Sometimes I wish she'd talk just a teensy bit slooooower for those of us not from London. On the other hand, I like that she is from London and not a small town. And I felt like the cast was a little more diverse than in the last few years - again, more urban and not very fairy taleish. A nice switch back.

  13. I'm already hooked on the mystery of Clara. Did you see the short teaser where the doctor talked to the little girl who, after the doctor leaves, we find out is Clara?

  14. I did see the teaser. At first I thought we were going to get yet another "the Doctor meets her as a little girl story ..." but it doesn't seem that she put two and two together and remember him when he showed up at her door in the main story. I'm trying to not get too caught up in the mystery of Clara because I fear I will be disappointed when it all comes together.

  15. That is a problem with Moffat -- he does a great job with the setup but doesn't live up to it at the payoff (I sure felt that way with both Amy Pond and River Song).
