  1. Happy weekend, everybody.

We got more snow last night -- looks like another 3-4 inches on top of the foot we already have. I was sorry not to have any snow last winter but I never wanted to make up for it by getting back all at once.

  2. We got a dusting last night. Last week's storm(s) missed us entirely.

  3. Bought a NEW Kia Soul from local dealer who shops in my store. Got a GREAT deal on the 2013 car. It's like a shrunken suv or a mini cooper on steroids. Went out to find a used Kia Rio but just didn't find anything. The rental place tried to tell me what I wanted. Never a good idea to do that to me LOL.

I ended up with the Soul for about 1,000 less than the used 2011 Honda Civic the other place was trying to get me into. Now we have to tow my old Honda Civic to the lot.

Lots of stuff to do today and a daylight hockey game to attend with some co-workers today at 3.

    Hope all are well.

  4. It just started snowing here. I am very glad that I didn't plan on going any where today - perfect day to stay in and read or watch TV.

  5. Here's my car :)

It looks strange, I know. But it's really fun and lots of space. You can't believe how big it is inside. Okay, done blubbering about my new car. :)

  6. Thanks for the new on Fam, andi. I'm so glad he's okay! And I hope your kitty gets better soon, Maria. And congrats on the car, Janet!

Spent a couple of days doing more pseudo-family stuff. Now I'm done with the obligatory visits, I can do stuff for me. Like spend NYE in Cocoa Beach with my musician guys, celebrating the end of a bittersweet year. But first, I need to work tomorrow!

Stay warm up there in all that snow. Our temps are dropping 20+ degrees tomorrow, brrr! I'll be happy staying inside and working...

    Happy weekend, y'all!

  7. I'd gladly send you several inches of our snow, Mary.

I think your new car looks very spiffy, Janet. Enjoy!

Happy snuggling inside with cats, Dina.

Sounds like a great NYE, Beth.

  8. Ugh, I'm finally pulling out of sick mode. Good to hear about FM, and Janet's new car! My brother is talking about selling his ragtop Miata come spring. I told him I wanted first dibs, 'cause I'm not sure how much longer the half-million-mile Civic is going to go.

Meanwhile, over on De Blawg, I have posted both the Accidental Sorcerers cover, and one for what I used to call Chasing a Rainbow. If any of y'all would like for me to guest-blog or do an interview for the accompanying blog tour next month, let me know!
