  1. Snowy morning all.

That's really a bummer, Jen. Hope it gets fixed sooner.

Mary, they got about the same amount in Bloomington so the snow is going to be around for a good (bad?) while. OTOH, Bloomington is a great town to live in, regardless of the weather.

  2. Y'all be safe up there in the snowy north. It's 37 in NEFL this morning - 66 in Key West, sigh. Hope everyone had a safe holiday, and is now wrapping up 2012. Where did the year go...?

    Happy Thursday!

  3. We got a nice amount of snow yesterday but it is already melting. Fine with me either way as all I have on today is a quiet day.

I hope everyone is having a good Thursday. With power.

  4. It's my Friday today and I am going to the mimes totally exhausted.

Jen, hon, sorry about your furnace gremlins.

Happy Belated Bellybutton Day to Nic!!

No snow here. Just rain. Going to go shop for a car tomorrow so can't even sleep in. Have two hockey games this coming week to attend. I just want to sleeeeeep. Paging Rip Van Winkle.

Oh and the NRA can go NRA itself. Guns, "hunting", "collections", and "target practice fun" are not more important than our children and our safety. Want a gun? Then become registered, licensed and have liability insurance and ban all secondary sales and be part of the well-regulated militia. I can understand one rifle to have around your homestead that is way out in nowheresville and the cops don't arrive for hours... but ONE rifle. Not 47. Not assault types.

And if you need a concealed handgun for your "protection" (mostly against black kids wearing hoodies...) then don't put NRA stickers on your pick up truck. Don't swagger into my store with your holster showing. Sane people who have concealed guns don't TELL people they have them. They don't advertise that they are packing. They don't have signs out on their lawn stating that "this house is armed". Idiots.

Can we talk about the Portland Mall shooting yet??.... 4 day attention span America.
