  1. Today's the day we finally finish the Great Emptying Out -- we'll be up in Indy to let in the junk haulers who are going to take away everything of Mom's that didn't go to her new apartment, into one of the 100 bags of trash, to any relatives, or to Goodwill.

If Mason gets any more adorable, Larry, he's going to melt my monitor.

Sorry about your friend, Kelly. Interesting how you experienced going back to the Ren Faire.

  2. That's a pretty big day emotionally, Andi, even if most of the hard work is already done. I hope you're all planning a comfort/treat for yourselves for afterward.

Janet, I hope you have a safe trip and lots of fun times.

{{Kelly}}. We really can't ever go home again, can we? As the world moves on, home changes, small bit by large hole, until it just isn't home anymore. But it's good to be able to keep the music with the memories.

    Happy October everyone.

  3. Hang in there, Andi & Jim!!

Kelly - sending you hugs & good thoughts.

Speaking of going home, I'm headed there Thursday, and giving a talk followed by a writing workshop to college students. Spending the rest of the time with my folks. Sis & BIL will be joining us, too. My very first workshop where I'm the teacher. Wish me luck!!

  4. Wow, lots going on. {{{Kelly}}} Sounds like a great memorial though.

Hey Maria, have fun with the workshop!

    Monday. Need I say more?

  5. Good luck to Maria and hugs to Kelly.

Andi, hope junk day goes well.

I leave for B'con tomorrow. Anyone else going?
