  1. If all day meetings are fab for you, Maria, then a day without them couldn't be anything but glorious. ;)

I'll check that out, Larry. Thanks.

We thought about the curbside method, Jen, but mom's street is a court so there's hardly any traffic on it.

We had a rainy day Monday, Dina. It was lovely.

Sorry about Danni's boyfriend and family, Janet, but sounds like it would have hit the rocks sooner or later.

  2. Andi, a day without a meeting is totally glorious. Don't get me wrong, any other all day meeting and I'd be strapping on the cranky pants!!

Today - glorious weather for another glorious day - high in the low 70s. We paid for it by hosting a ridiculous storm yesterday afternoon - wind gusts up to 60 mph, sideways rain. Luckily, it skidded out of my area before rush hour.

Fall is definitely sliding in and I couldn't be happier.

Hugs to Danni for the heartache, but it sounds as if it will all work out for the best.

    Wishing good things upon everyone!

  3. I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. I don't give a Sh^t about the 47%.

    Keep talking Mitt! :)

Even at Wayne's work, the two main wingnuts who are the biggest moochers, the laziest sobs and the ones who bellyache that they are entitled to raises and promotions due to things like showing up late and leaving early are being vewwwy vewwwy quiet right now. Yay!

Wayne has to go back to Boston. His family are bigots and the willfully ignorant. "let him die" and that. They support the team that hates women and the disabled. No wonder they have only met Wes and DanDan once in their lives and that was on our dime. Wayne said that if any of them try to get all political with him that he's going to open a big can of stfu on them.

Must be why my kids love our hockey family so much and are always willing to meet and greet friends of ours from online. They know they have the freedom to choose who they have in their lives.

I've got a 9-5er at the mimes. yesterday was dental hell for Wes.

  4. Hey all!

Janet, from what you said about the parents, that relationship was going to turn toxic sooner or later. I suppose if there's any comfort to be had, it's that neither of the kids are the bad guys here. At least Danni knows now it's important to be "with" someone who shares your values whenever possible.

Until this week, I was comparing Rmoney's campaign to Dole '96 and/or Dukakis '88. Now, I can't compare it to anything I've seen in my lifetime (and I've been around a while). There's still the usual "stuck in a bog" thing, spinning their wheels and throwing mud every which way, but now the engine is in flames and the wingnuts are trying to tell us it's "turbo boost." Hell, even Bloomberg said that was the moment he lost the election, right there. But now the good guys have to run up the score. No more excuses for obstruction.

Maybe Wayne can have this put on a tshirt before he heads to Baaaaaaaston: Call it "being proactive." :-P

  5. Hi, all. Larry, I agree that this campaign cannot be compared to anything. What really gets me is that Romney is only where he is now because of government bailouts - both Bain and the Olympics! And he certainly is portraying himself as a victim. So I guess he is one of the 47% that won't vote for him!
