  1. We got a little rain on Saturday too, Jen, but it was just enough to make me miss it even more.

Moving people in summer is hot work, Larry, even in the best of circumstances. Tha just sound awful. My sympathies.

    Your garden sounds wonderful, Janet.

Egads Mary. What a crap-a-palooza. My sympathies to you too.

  2. Morning, gang!!

Monday dawns with humidity and back into the upper 90s. Blech.

I spent the weekend mostly offline napping & reading after working on Friday. Now, back to my usual schedule. I've been watching the BBC's The Hollow Crown - (Richard II, Henry IV part 1, Henry IV part 2, Henry V) - the last part (Hank 5) airs over the weekend. Thanks to my internet buddies, I've got access. The series has been brilliant so far. It's a who's who of male Brit actors. What a great lineup. Stealing the Henriad so far is Tom Hiddleston (Loki from Thor/Avengers) as Prince Hal. Absolutely fantastic actor. Can't wait until the final installment (and the DVDs!!). I heard a rumor that BBCAmerica will be airing the series here sometime in the fall.

Off to the mimes in a bit. We've got 3 new employees starting today, w00t!

  3. Morning, all. Sorry for the absence. My guy decided we'd be better as just friends, so I've been trying to wrap my brain (and heart) around that one. Gonna bury myself in work this week, and wait for the pain to subside.

    Have a great week, all.

  4. (((Beth)))) awwww sorry, hon! You want us to like you know hurt him or something? I know some people who know some people who know some people, iffin' you know what I mean.

  5. He's been so sweet about it, Janet. It'd be easier if he'd be a jerk. But it's been really hard on him, too, having to tell me that the feelings just aren't there any more. Doesn't make it easier on me, except that at some point, we'll be friends. But right now, that's not much comfort.

Thanks for the offer, though. :)

  6. Ugly humidity here too, Maria. Yuck.

Larry left a comment that I got emailed but it didn't show up here:

Wife got a good nap yesterday afternoon, and I dedicated myself to making sure she got as much nap as she needed. That meant fending off in-laws wanting crap, by phone & personal appearance, of course. In between… quality time with the Kindle. Mason woke up when I laughed at a line in the book I was reading, but he'd had a long nap of his own by then. I got a little revising done on paper. Other than an hour at the end of the day, I didn't do much screen time (Kindle doesn't count because it's eInk).

Off to the mimes. See what happens today. :-D

Beth! :( Big hugs from all of us.

Maybe, Janet, one of those people you know could stop by Beth's place and just deliver her some really good and cold beer, instead. :)

  7. Andi, I love everything about that photo.
