  1. Happy Solstice, all!

Definitely summer. We're looking at heat index of 100-105 today. UGH x10000.

    So thankful for good a/c!

  2. Maria, I'm so sorry this is going to be one of the bad days for you!!

I hate summer. I think we're going to have a mostly coolish day today. But, as far as I'm concerned, from now through September everyday holds a threat of intolerable weather. I don't particularly like a/c either but, at least it keeps me from throwing up!

  3. Maria, I am sorry to hear that. Hope the a/c takes all the ugh away.

I am with kariebird - I hate summer. And I have a feeling this one will be brutal. Sigh!

  4. Bleah on the weather there, Maria, and here for that matter. It felt like I was running through saliva when I went out this morning. Crashed and burned when Cabal zigged and I zagged on mud. Figured it was better to go down then to really tag the medically fragile dog. No major harm done, but my ankle tells me I won't be running tomorrow. Laura's back was enough better today that she was able to attend a meeting at school…yay? Two hours in a chair wiped her out, and I had to drive her the five blocks to and from, but she's mending. Am enjoying being home. Loved the trip, but it wiped me out. Oh, hey, I should probably link all the pics. Hmm… Back in a bit.

  5. They're on facebook but you don't need to have an FB account to see them. Linkies: http://kellymccullough.com/?p=420

Later, I'll put up Laura's trip diaries, but that's going to require more work.

  6. Yo! Hoping everyone is staying non-melted on the first day of summer.

Kelly, hope the ankle gets better quickly. Nice pics too!

    Bouncing in & out today…

  7. Hi everybody. Been up in Indy to take my mom our vacation gift -- Jim and I took a bunch of pictures of each other on the trails and made a photobook of them using Apple's Aperture. We uploaded the book to Apple to be professionally printed (it looks great!) and got it back in a couple weeks. Very nifty process.

And speaking of pics -- WOW, Kelly!
