  1. Welcome home! Looking forward to seeing your photos and hearing your stories.

How was the homecoming for Bebo and Sniff?

  2. A big welcome home to the Fs!

And big apologies to Larry for being so late with my condolences on the loss of your mother-in-law. I hope the funeral can help to begin the healing process, and that your family has whatever you all need during this difficult time.

  3. Morning all! You stand for canyons and mesas, then?

    KB, your post took, woohoo!

Things are going as well as can be expected here: the usual suspects are showing their butts (including Snippet, of course) and the older sister in law is maintaining with the help of her friend Valium (better living through chemistry). The funeral begins in a couple hours, and things will settle into a new normal by next weekend.

I've been suggesting that Big V move in with her dad, so they can squabble constantly — they'll be in hog heaven, and Big V can't pull one of her dramatic exits if we don't let her have the powerchair. ;-)

    1. That sounds like a good idea, Larry.... They could watch out for each other!

  4. Welcome home, Andi & Jim! Love today's photo.

    Hang in there, Larry.

Long day yesterday at the SFWA event. Sadly, the workshop was badly done. 3 hrs of one guy sitting at a desk reading out his powerpoint slides and not really engaging with the audience. He didn't even build in a bathroom break! Sigh. I itched to go up there and show him how it should be done. I spent the rest of the day working at the registration desk, which again, was a cluster of disorganization. Even so, I met some lovely folks and found out that World Fantasy Con in 2014 is going to be at the same hotel - so big yay for that! I won't have to travel.

I've got a movie date with a friend at noonish - finally going to see the Avengers. Then the rest of the weekend will be quiet time. :)

  5. Candis, the dogs were ecstatic when we got home but even moreso when I took them for a long walk this morning.

Howdy, Jen. How are all the kitties.

So sorry, Larry. All I can say is that I hope the day goes by very fast.

Have fun at the movies, Maria.

  6. Welcome home F's! Awaiting many glorious pics.

Larry, my condolences on the death of your MIL. And my apologies on being so late with them.

    Hi to everyone else.
