  1. Gorgeous panorama!

Getting ready for my morning workshop (plotting & structure) @ the SFWA event. After lunch, I'm working at registration. Decided yesterday evening that I'll probably skip Saturday activities so I can have a quiet weekend. Seems the older I get, the less I can tolerate lots of people--at least, the amount of time I can tolerate crowds grows shorter.

    Wishing you all the best.

  2. Morning! Thanks everyone for your expressions, they are much appreciated. We're doing the viewing today & the funeral is tomorrow morning.

Maybe it was all this that gave my #FridayFlash a morbid bent. Or maybe it was the crumpled white something I saw on the road yesterday. An escaped toddler, a frantic guardian angel, and an oncoming car… of course I had to call it "Roadkill."

    Y'all have a great weekend!

  3. We're home. Great trip but it's always nice to be back home.

  4. I guess I never finished my comment earlier. It's been that kinda week. Larry, I'm so sorry. Life is too short....

Welcome home, F's. Looking forward to seeing pictures and hearing about your trip!!

I've been up since 2:30am. Time to crash and start all over again tomorrow. Hope your workshop goes well, Maria! And happy weekend to everyone else!!!

  5. Dear Larry, I'm very very sorry for the loss of your mother in law. (hoping this comment posts -- I haven't been able to post comments on blogger blogs for months)
