  1. Onward through the fog...uhm, rain, that is. Another gloomy day in the DC area today.

    Looking forward to SFWA Nebula weekend starting Thursday night with a reception & whisky tasting. Luckily, it's at the hotel directly across the street from the mimes, so I don't have to shell out for hotel room. :)

    Hugs to all!

  2. Oh, that's a nice shot — I could see it as one of the killer jigsaw puzzles my mother in law is so fond of!

    Maria, are you saying you can stagger across the street to your office and sleep off the whiskey tasting under your desk? 8-}

    As I mentioned over the weekend, I've posted the next installment in Accidental Sorcerers. Poor Mik… in this age, a sorcerer's life is supposed to be sedate!

  3. Hi, all. Wet here too but brightened by the fact that Murder Fortissimo came today! Thanks, Nicky. Can't wait to read it.

    HA! I could at that. Mostly, I'm happy b/c I live under 2 miles away, so this will be cake.

  5. Another wicked hot day here in Cascadia! Guh, I don't like the heat. Yes, I'd rather have rain :) I'm one of those whacky Northwest types.

    Got some photos from China!

  6. Suckage knob turned to 11. My mother in law collapsed today (in the chicken houses, of course) and her heart stopped. She's in ICU now. Needless to say, this ain't good.

  7. Hi everybody. Had our last hike of this trip today. Tomorrow we start the trip home with a short day so we can stop at Great Sand Dunes National Park.

    Larry, I am so sorry. Hugs and good thoughts from Jim and me.

    Cool pics, Janet.
