  1. HAPPY PI DAY!!!

As per usual, people at work bring in homemade pies. I LOVE working at a geeky company.

Still ridiculously hot here & going to be so all week. The snow pic is refreshing!

I'm hoping for a quiet and fast-moving day.

  2. Sheesh, we're heading for 80 (or really close) today & tomorrow! Woohoo for work at home days and a patio with wifi coverage!

    Clever, Maria!

Well, wife took Big V tot the hospital for a scheduled thing, and they kept her. Potassium is still too low, and now her kidneys are doing something the docs didn't like. Big V's factuality (or lack thereof) is even more pronounced than the rest of her family's, so it wasn't long before the docs would look to the wife for confirmation every time she answered a question.

My packages from Amazon arrived — I got some routine maintenance parts for my bike, a new cover for my Kindle with a built-in reading light, and a 30W solar panel with a 12V charger adapter. The plan is to rig it into a USB charging station for all the little mobile devices we've got floating around here, and a few LCD emergency lights.

Miming at home commences in 15 minutes!

  3. Hi, all.

Maria, if Dean shows up I am there! Happy Pi day.

Farf, hope all goes well. Sounds like a lot on your plate right now.

Waves to everyone. Off to enjoy the lovely day.

  4. Cosine, secant, tangent, sine,
Three point one four one five nine!
    ::waves pompoms::

Between the oddball weather and the jerky doctors*, I'm about two irritations away from building a spaceship in my shed aimed at Kepler 22-B. I could probably make it big enough for a handful of us if I get a new shed, so if you want in, sign up early. Oh, and Larry, let me know how it goes with that solar panel set-up, I might need to ask some questions about installation as I get closer to launch. ;p

Hope you all have a great day, whatever you're up to.
*Do y'all think I could sell doctor jerky, like how they sell other jerky at the counter at convenience stores? People would totally buy that, right? (I'm kidding! Any time you look at me like that, I'm just making jokes.)

  5. It was almost 80 here today, Maria. It's just unreal.

How cool (or hot) that you got a solar panel, Larry. I'll be really interested in hearing how you do with it. Hope Big V gets home soon.

Dina, if your day was anything like it was here (weatherwise anyway), I'm sure you enjoyed it.

Even if I don't go, Jen, I'll be sure to head over there to watch the launch. :)
