  1. Morning, gang!

Had another restful night last night. Still coughing a bit this a.m., but doesn't seem quite as horrible.

Working @ the mimes from home again (making up time) today. It's nice to be able to just be in my comfy jammies to work, but I admit that I miss being around my buddies.

    TGIF!

  2. Howdy all! Those clouds have some ugliness in them, eh?

Andi, I was thinking about not-library books with Calibre. The library books go "poof" after a set time, right? Gutenberg.org has thousands of titles that passed into the public domain — nearly all the classics, including the roots of many genres — all free to download in whatever format you want.

Maria, good to hear you're feeling better!

I met the wife at the park last night and stayed with Mason while she took Big V home. A girl was there, drawing on some kind of artbox… not sure what it's called. She became the centerpiece of a #FridayFlash that left me wondering "where the eff did that come from?"

  3. I loved working at home, Maria. I did it from 1989 till this year's retirement in January. And every time I had to go into an office to work, it pretty much drove me crazy, particularly all those meetings that were largely wasted time.

I hadn't thought about that, Larry. I found out yesterday that if I download a book into iTunes it gets automatically uploaded into iBooks on the iPad so that makes the moving around a lot easier.
