Making a Point

  1. Morning all.

The sun is up, but I don't hear any birds singing. And I am NOT looking forward to coming home from work in the dark.

Put pics of Mason (in his Hallowe'en outfit) & Daughter Dearest (at her recital) on the blawg last night. Did some wood-loading yesterday; Mrs. Fetched got a great pic of Mason sitting on a stump but I don't have a copy yet.

Just waiting for Mason's sitter to show up then I'm off.

  2. Morning, gang.

Still vehicle-less & tire-less. Got a ride into the mimes this a.m. with a co-worker. Now have to resched my eye doc appt or spend $25 on a cab...hmm....

In a place with public transport, this is normally easy - except now, I live in a neighborhood that is less conducive to that, as it's a bit off the beaten path. Oh well, I gave up convenience for a lovely location. I can live with that.

As Farf said the other day, rethinking my Smart car purchase - no spare tire made this whole thing an EVENT as opposed to a minor inconvenience. :(

I've snagged a ride home with another co-worker, now to find a ride to CVS around lunchtime to pick up meds.

Hoping to get my tired situation taken care of by tomorrow evening.

BTW, Farf - Mason: cutest kid ever; DD looks gorgeous in her gown!

  3. I love the end of DST, Farf, but I am sorry about you having to drive home in the dark for the next endless months.

Damn Maria, it is just stunning to me that you can't get a tire for your car. Hope it comes in tomorrow.

    Howdy Dina.

    Mazel tov, Kelly!
