  1. That is definitely a strange vision. Not sure that it is the way to start the day! :)

It isn't raining here though it will probably start soon.

    Happy Saturday all.

  2. Wow, that's kind of how the inside of my throat/lungs feel right now, all red & wet.

Fell asleep around 6:30 p.m., then woke at 11 for a few hours, then back asleep until 8:30. I still feel a bit beat up, so I'm spending today in the chair with the kitty.

Thanks for all the good thoughts yesterday!

  3. Mmmm looks like strawberry jam.

Off to Frys (an electronic store) to get some schtuff so we can say Eff Uuuz to cable and Faux Snooze. And hello to some of our hard earned moolah.

Hope all have a great day. We're going to slave drive the kids and get ready for Fall in our yard. Even got some bulbs to "bury". I miss Iowa Victory Gardener... on so many levels for many reasons. But when I putter around in my yard I always wish I could call him up and ask him questions or see how Hannah is doing... :*/

  4. The best part of a strange vision is you get to interpret it!

Yes, I'm back at the manor. Everything went as planned, but my favorite part of the trip back was the short PDX to Seattle link. This is the plane — had another outside boarding, and they served free microbrew on the flight. Awesome. Delta's 757, by contrast, had less legroom on a bigger plane.

And Mason's not clinging, but he's staying close. He was delighted with Janet's present! (I need to get a pic up.) Now to get the company to transfer me to Beaverton and move out there…

  5. Dina, just go "what long strange trip it's been" and it will all be okay.

Tell kitty it's her job to pat and fluff and I don't want to hear any guff about cats and their attitudes. ;)

How did the yard work go, Janet? Everything looking good?

Glad your trip home was just fine, Farf. Looking forward to seeing the pic.

  6. That's an odd bit of stuff, Andi, no idea what it is.

(((Maria))) and best wishes for things getting better soonest.

  7. It's an odd but really ordinary bit of stuff, Kelly -- it a red leaf on the ground with a little puddle of water in it, reflecting the trees above it.
