Summer Goes to the Dogs

  1. woof! woof!!

Definitely dog days here. Hot, humid, icky. I think I'd rather be in Vancouver.

Quiet weekend. Finally got a full night's sleep last night.

Nothing much to say about today except that it's Monday. :)

    Happy week ahead to all!

  2. Dog days here too. Hate it.

    Happy Monday I guess.

  3. Farf, I don't have anything yet. I think I had a google profile at one time. Not sure.

Jim, thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out this weekend. The bagger in the meeting said that taxes had killed so many cities lately and he mentioned a Colorado Springs. Anotther guy corrected him and said that the Extgremist Tea Party types had destroyed his hometown because none of them wanted to be taxed so they had to cut most of all the programs which included city jobs and maintenance... like garbage removal, park mowing. He hollered, "people like you destroy neighborhoods." It was verrrry eeenteresting."

Got to get my mind wrapped around going to the mimes.

  4. Heat index here is 110, Maria. I do not like it. I do not like it all.

Dina, we are in perfect accord.

Third opinion: Colorado Springs was destroyed by the idea that unconstrained growth is a great thing. Yep let a city grow far beyond what its infrastructure can support -- helluva great idea.

  5. Y'all need to come to North Idaho. 84 and sunny today, no humidity. Clouds rolled in tonight and we had a brief shower. I sat outside and let it rain on me. Just gorgeous.

The resident dog, a Corgi/Australian shepherd mix named Rylee, sat inside and looked at me with a look on his face that said, "Stupid humans."

  6. I would love to come to Idaho (though I'd prefer to meet in Stanley), Beth. Love those mountains.

    Night all.
