Ahem. Yes. Still alive. Badass stomach bug + me = unhappy Lima.

Stayed home from the mimes Mon/Tues, going in today. Let's see what happens. I want to eat real food, but really not sure I should risk it. Ugh.

OTOH, weather is supposed to be grand. (spring like & not hot).

    Happy Wednesday!

  2. Morning Gang,

Busy with workshop yesterday and today.
So nice to have quiet in the house. Amazing how three is so much less than four people. Three less cats does change the dynamics too.

    Happy, safe trails Beth.

Maria, think BRAT. Bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Easy on the tummy.

Andi, glad you are getting nicer weather. We could sure use some rain here. Beautiful flowers!!

Waves to all as off to start the day.

  3. Waves to all.

Maria, hope you are doing better today.

Beth, you are amazing. I don't know how you do it, but I hope you have happy trails.

Anyone else humming their favorite Peter, Paul and Mary song?

  4. Ick, Maria, get better! Maybe Andi's yarrow will help.

Lisa, you have three less cats, we have two more! Hope the workshop leaves you time to enjoy your summer.

    Hi Dina!

Oh, I posted pix of the kitties — and kiddies (Mason & Skylar) on the blawg last night.

  5. Farf, love them guys in undies and cowboy boots! :) Almost as cute as the Navy's "Cracker Jacks" as I call them (Dress Blues) as the Navy calls em. First time I saw my partner, he was wearing the typical white sailor outfit. I got suckered in.

BTW, your Last Journalist story suckered me in, too. Made my heart pound.

Been reading Dystopian shorties from Brave New Worlds. The forward was worth the price. Most think that dystopian novels are about bad places or apocolyptic futures when actually they are about bad societies. What horrible things societies will do in order to feel "safe" and "in control".

Maria sorry you've got the crud.

Gotta get ready for a 9-5er.

    Go Bruins! Game 7 tonight

  6. Thanks for the good wishes. My attempt at the mimes failed. Came back home via grocery so now I have the ingredients for BRAT...plus clear soup.

Evidently, another co-worker is experiencing something similar. He was out Th/Fri, in Mon/Tue out today. UGH.

    Hates GI bugs, precious.
