At least not when it's spiderwort.

  1. ... continued from last night.

Glad to hear you got through the day's travels unscathed, Beth. Hope the next leg of the journey goes well too. Happy toes in the sand to you.

    ... back to today.

We're getting a new roof today which means that our satellite internet (dish on roof) will be out of commission until late morning on Friday when the technician arrives to reinstall it (I hope) which means that I'll be on dial-up or the phone which means my presence here will be limited which means ... well not much really.

  2. These kind of spiders, I can handle. ::g::

Andi & Jim, best wishes on the new roof!

It's 85F here already (8:00 a.m.) - the Capital Weather Gang are already predicting "A blast furnace kind of day..." YUCK!

The Glee cast is going to be at a nearby strip mall at 1:00 p.m. I think I plan to not go--too bloody hot and I'm sure too many peeps. Not a good mix.

Wish it were my Fake!Friday, but alas, no. I'll be @ the mimes tomorrow, too. Of the good, we're having a Friday Forum (internal brown bag) about the International Space Station. Boss' hubby's dad worked for NASA until his recent retirement. He's going to do the presentation.

On that note, I'm diving back into the mimes...catch you all on the flip side!

Hot here too, Maria. And I can take those kind of spiders anytime.

    Stay cool.

  6. Love the bright yellow bits ... My white ones just started blooming the other day. Pretty things.

Janet -- my in-laws come from Boston, and my husband and bro-in-law grew up cheering for Boston. And on the other hand my brother lives in Vancouver. My family is DIVIDED right down the centre line. ;-)

  7. It's been great watching the Bruins give a total smackdown on the "nucks. I hate Vancouver. Bunch of whining, diving, biting, cheating buttheads. Even with Boston up 12 - 1 in the last two games, the commentatortots and analsys team always fawn over the Canucks. Argh.

My husband is from Danvers, Mass (the original Old Salem Village) so we have some hockey happiness still. My sharks are somewhere playing golf. Yuck.

    Go Boston!
