  3. Morning Gang!

Staying home, trying to stay cool.
Pretty boring here. But right now that fits the bill just fine.

Waves to Nicky. Hope you are mending fine and able to do all that you enjoy.

Beth, happy, safe trails to you. With intermittent friend and family fests.

Maria, hoping the feeling better only got even better. Sounds like you got bopped with a bad one.

    Andi, tsk tsk bathroom humor.
But you bring us fantastic pics I will ignore.

Jim, hope the extra time has given you pleasure. I just love being less structured.

Farf, the kits and the human pups are sooo cute. Love Mason's boots.

Off to get some writing done.
    Sensational Saturday to All.

  4. ::waves at all::

Definitely feeling better, even more so today. Just hanging about doing a little light reading and watching A Touch of Frost via Netflix streaming.

Also discovered a new-to-me series, George Gently. Brilliant show about a DCI George Gently (duh), who ends up in Northumberland. Martin Shaw plays the DCI; the young man who played Stan Shunpike in the Harry Potter movies (the Knight Bus conductor) plays Sergeant James Baccus, a rather ambitious local cop.

I highly recommend it if you like that sort of show.

Lisa, sending loads of "get cooler" vibes your way. I feel for you!

Farf, loved the pics of the new kits. Mason continues to be adorable.

    Happy Weekend!

  5. Hey you guys!

Just popping in — OMG, is it really 4pm??? I drove Big V down to the hospital this morning then got groceries & stuff. Just finished lunch, which should tell you how far behind I am. Now I'm off to mow the lawn & maybe pick some more blackberries.

Thanks for the adoration… Mason loves it from a distance. ;-)

  6. No, it's not really 4pm. ;P

Biggest sports parade in Boston's history!!! No rioting, no arrests.

I think the NHL should adopt soccer's policy. If your fan riot after a championship win/loss, that team forfeits it's season next year. However, there is still some horrible violence associated with soccer/futball.

Amazing that Palin didn't show up to try to steal the limelight. LOL

Um... No, I'm not saddling em up toonight, Jim. I'm going to get arrested, it's for Peace. Not for a piece of my a..ahem. :) At least not this year.

    Gotta love Portland.

  9. Oh Janet, I have NO brain!! I'm SO sorry I missed you when I was in Oregon! Gosh darn it all. I didn't have a plan when I decided to drive from Phoenix to Coeur d'Alene, and just wandered up the coast because I love it so much. Then remembered I have family in Hillsboro who I haven't seen in 24 years, so called them last-minute and spent last night with them. And completely forgot you're in that area. I'm so sorry! Doggone it all. It would have been great to meet you finally! Cross my heart, if I get back over that way soon, I'll make sure to let you know.

Boo, friend visiting - fail. :(

I'm now in Coeur d'Alene for the summer, as of this afternoon. Both weird and good to be in the place that's as close to "home" as I get. I'll enjoy my time here, and then move on to - somewhere else.

    Be safe, all!
