The Wait Is (Almost) Over

  1. April showers, babybee!! We're deep into spring with hot flashes followed by cold rains. Life just below the Mason-Dixon line.

Still in career limbo re: writing, waiting to hear back from the agent. He makes me crazy sometimes! In the meantime, though, I'm sprucing up the pulled story so I can send it to Jim Hines for his blog posting palooza and working on a few other things until something gels into more than just a concept.

    Ah, the writing life...

    Happy Hump Day!

  2. The wait… for insane pollen counts?

It cooled off a LOT after the storms went through. 80s before, barely 70 now. Beats the #### out of 40 (or 30, or 20) though.

Good luck with the limbo, Maria. Hope the bar doesn't get *too* low. Maybe I could send Olga to flog your agent until he gets his act together.

Went to Reinhardt for Daughter Dearest's spring concert last night. I'm glad I decided to turn off my smellphone, M.A.E. texted me twice and The Boy called once & texted once. However, The Boy got to take care of Mason through the evening and actually put him to bed… now that's something I wish would happen more often.

OK, off to the mime thing…

  3. Rain here. Is that what we are waiting for?

  4. Hi Maria. I'm sorry the waiting you are doing isn't as pleasant as my waiting for the greening of the woods. I hope the results, though, are equally delightful.

May you have many repeats of Mason new bed time routine, Farf. :)

If it is, we haven't had to do much waiting here. Sound like you haven't either, Dina.
