  1. (Waving at Andi an everyone-still-to-come)

GOOD Morning! I'm up and going due to an Alarm Clock!! The only appointment I could get for my hair was at 8:15 this morning (Oh No!) and with the time change last week, I'm still waking up at crazy-weird times. It'll work out in another week or two but, I THINK things are still weird.

The best thing about my weekend? I found a bunch of cool-fun knitting stuff to buy online. But didn't.
Also, I got both sleeves on my roughing-it sweater started.

This is going to be the week-of-unfinished-projects.

Andi, I'm so glad to be back! I love starting my day with your photos and our friends! (I'll have to come back later for that!!)

  2. It is snowing. Need I say more.

  3. Been waiting for the truck to get cleaned out so I can take it to Krystal and swap it for my car, where The Boy took it this morning to work. Yeah, way too convoluted.

KB, "week of unfinished projects" describes most of my weeks…

Dina, technically it was still winter yesterday. *snort*

    OK, time to get moving.

  4. (waves back at kb) Take pictures of your knitting, kb, and post links to them! Olivia/Candis does pictures of her k-i-p (kniiting-in-process) and I love seeing them -- the patterns and colors are such fun to see.

Oh no, Dina. That is completely blecch. I'm am beseeching the weather gods to make it go away.

  5. Howdy Farf. Yeah the transition from winter to spring always seems to actually happen some time in April. It's very warm today but we've got below freezing nighttime temps in the forecast.

  6. Morning, gang!

Raining cats 'n' dogs here, but thankfully, too warm to snow. Bummer, Dina. :(

VA Book was grand, at least, everything *but* my panel. 4 members of the 'ol boys' club and me. (even though 1 of those members was a woman, they all knew each other, published mostly by smaller presses, etc.). I could barely get a word in edgeways thanks to Bombastic!Jerk at one end of the row. Our moderator was scared of her own shadow. Sheesh.

The rest of the festival was lovely. Gorgeous spring weather. Picked up some great out of print paperbacks at Read It Again, Sam (a fantastic used bookstore). Had fun with my friend Bonner.

    Happy Monday!

  7. I wouldn't mind the snow so much if it were just today but it is supposed to snow on Wed. when I leave for LCC. I just don't want any delays as I have to change planes in Dallas.

  8. I love the name of that bookstore, Maria. Too bad about the panel but glad you had a good time anyway.

We had warm weather today, Dina, so maybe some of it will head your way.

  9. Heading to Florida tomorrow for the week. Will stop by as I find a signal.

Worked most of last night, and all day today. Still too much left to do. Guess I won't be sleeping tonight either. Oh well, good thing I can sleep on planes...

    Waving to all....
