  1. Morning Andi

Very nice snow picture. When we had a little bit of sleet here recently George acted like he was stepping on hot coals. At first I thought it was funny, but at his age I decided I had to go out to the yard and help him out. So I hobbled out there and moved him around until he found a spot he liked.

  2. Poor George. Poor you ... to be up so early. But I'm happy to see you here, no matter what time it is.

  3. Look who's talking about being up so early. :)

I'm back in the habit of waking up at 3:00 or 4:00 each morning. I've always preferred to be up before anyone else in the house is moving around. I guess you could say that's my quiet time.

As I tell you every year. You can send me all the snow you've got.

  4. Aha! That's it, when the snow/ice storm comes tonight, I shall bury my head and ignore it. ::g::

Morning, gang! I'm up early so I could ride the recumbent. Mission accomplished. Not looking forward to the winter weather arriving later this evening. Bah, humbug. :(

Wishing you all a very happy Monday!

  5. Burying your head to avoid winter sounds like a great idea...but not IN winter itself!! Hoping all of Maria's snow heads FM's way...

Braving the VGW, FM! It is nice to have quiet time in the morning - and to see you here again.

Your pictures do make winter look nice, andi.

Off on a whale-watching trip this morning, something I've never done - and didn't know you could do it in San Diego. Wish you all could come, too.

Enjoy the day off, those who have it. Otherwise, Friday isn't that far away...

  6. It isn't the size of the doggiee, FM. My big black lab doesn't like sleet or snow. She makes a little path along the eaves. She's very quick with it all, too. And she's grown up with the white stuff :)

I saw a MLK White Sale ad. WTF?!?! LOL :)

I swear every holiday is now just a day to consume. Few years back, the local Sears had a "Mission Accomplised" sale.

No Peace vigils for me today as I'm working. Missed too much this year due to vertigo and deaths so I'm picking and choosing my treks and vigils a bit more this season.

Have a peaceful, progressive day if you so desire.

  7. Heehee, my first thought was Clumsy Carp from "B.C." watching the fish.

The first widescreen project that Mrs. Fetched ever did has been burned to DVD. It fought us every step of the way, but we finally got that sucker wrassled to the ground and hog-tied.

I'm reading my White Pickups draft on my Kindle, and finding the note-taking function quite handy for editing.

Well, off to deliver the video project… later!

  8. Maybe the weather gods will be kind, Maria, and send the storm on a different track -- like out in the ocean.

I can't wait to hear about the whale watching trip and the whale of a good time you have, Beth.

Janet, somebody (like Bebo) should teach your doggie why to love snow -- it's water you can scoop up and eat while running, no stopping needed!

I like that image, Farf -- it fits the dogs perfectly. Mazel tov to Mrs Fetched!
