  1. Coming here always gives me perspective.

The wonders of drugs, the kick of coffee, and the saga of others to start my day.

    Farf, hugs for funeral.
Hubby and daughter out of town for the weekend-WOOHOO. Silence is golden. Bro and I will be able to stay on opposite ends of the house.

Maria, I'm thinking when you have a major writing extravaganza that your body may react some from that too. Feels good to the end, but lots of energy expended in the effort. Hope you are right as rain today. Though without the rain part.

Nicky, How fun to be involved in the local goings on. Puffed up is good for the soul. Hubby's a keeper for stepping up too.

Beth, here's hoping that box appears so you don't have to go to all the other trouble.

Jim, A man of a few words is hard to find, but greatly appreciated.
Hope you are felling better for the holidays.

Thursday Winking at Friday to All.

  2. Morning, all!!

Farf, here's a huge hug for you know, just everything.

Lisa, I'm feeling 1000 percent better today. Got a lovely night's sleep and am looking forward to a quiet weekend! Hope your weekend is equally as quiet. :)

    Wishing everyone a fantastic day!

  3. Mornin', y'all, and thanks much. We had the viewing last night, in a few hours it's back to Rome for the actual funeral. The Boy is to be a pallbearer.

Lisa, Maria, sounds like you guys are having a pretty good day so far! Yay!

    Off to blog a little…

  5. Yay for the end of the drought! Now if the freezing temps could just leave, too...

Enjoy your peace and quiet, Lisa. And you too, Maria!

Hope the funeral goes as well as can be expected, Farf. What an honor for The Boy.

The usual here. Work, errands, unpacking. Meeting my guy for lunch, which means I'll brave the Big City. Not quite as big as some, though!

If I don't stop by tomorrow, it's cuz I'm walking across the Phoenix Valley with Phil and some of his friends this weekend. Up and at 'em early tomorrow morning. I'll check in as I can.

    Happy Almost Friday, y'all!

And yay you're doing better today, Maria.

    Thinking of you, Farf.

Hope you have a great time, Beth, and don't get any blisters.
