  1. Giddy getting her moment of adoration and fame.

Did some good character development this weekend on one of my characters. The gray-haired lady in the story is gonna be the still sexy, bright, business savy and successful character. Not one of my grandmothers at all. Dressing in black leather, tight jeans and dripping in silver jewelry she designs herself.
I gotta have fun with these characters and this story.
I was telling a friend about the premise and she says it sounds depressing. Dead parents and HIV.
Oh so true, so finding my funny/amusing writer side.

Hotter N Hell here with the humidity and triple digits. Bah. Come on fall.

Jim, Cyberhugs and have a good week.

My last week of freedom. Though I've got to do some work for school to get a staff presentation ready for next week.

So will write, read, and veg with a bit of tv.

    Marvelous Monday to All.

  2. Escapee spotted!

The weekend was mostly spent watching Mason or mowing grass. I've had worse weekends.

Lisa, sounds like you're doing well with your book. In mine, Johnny Latimer was originally intended to have a bit part, but he wanted more of that spotlight. That turned out well; Cody is resourceful, but he can't do it all himself.

    Gotta run, it's Monday!

  3. Love this picture!

Lisa, that is my kind of silver haired woman - she sounds wonderful.

Not much here except heat. Luckily the humidity isn't too bad.

  4. You gray-goddess sounds like a winner, Lisa. I like her already. Enjoy the week -- despite the yucky temps.

Love that picture of Mason, Farf. He's getting really good at mugging for the camera.

Hi Dina. Giddy says thanks -- she does think that's her best side. :)

  5. Isn't this what that vampire guy is supposed to do? Shine? (I never read the Twilight books but I remember something. Or maybe he sparkles?)

I love the picture of Mason too FarF.

Let's see, earlier it was 93 degrees but supposedly felt like 107. I stopped looking at the weather after that. Ugh.

  6. They sparkle, Mary. And since you've met Giddy, I think you'll agree that sparkling ain't her thing.
