  2. Luscious berries, Andi. Made me feel a bit cooler.
83 right now at 5:40 so probably as cool as it will get.

    Happy Happy Birthday, Kelly!!!

Off to Austin today. Daughter and I will visit a museum or two and have some Mother Daughter time. Tomorrow will bring stuff home as she moves back and looks for a job. Temp work will soon keep her busy until the real deal comes along.

Boundaries with so many bodies in the house will be a challenge.

Jim, enjoy the weekend before kiddos descend.

    Dreaming of S. Cal. Beth.

Maria--let the words flow and the story come to an end.

Puppies!!! Pictures only. The herd is big enough here.

Waves as off to get words down before packing and driving and then some fun.

    Sensational Saturday to All.

  3. Oh, lovely shot, Andi!!

Have fun in Austin, Lisa. I've always enjoyed that city.

The story is OVER. Sent it off last night, w00t! Of course, I'm sure there'll be edits. But for now, I'm taking the weekend off.

Rescue kitty Darius is coming to visit today at 11. I'm really excited! Hoping it all goes well and that I get to adopt him.

    Happy Saturday!

  4. Happy birthday Kelly!

I have finally posted the puppy pic. Since today's topic is "Seeing Red," I added a red crepe myrtle to the post as well. :-P Family obviously didn't permit getting it done last night. (Snippet grrrr went to pick her up from work and she took off with someone else grrr)

The manor is going to be packed with people for lunch… I've been tasked to prep the ground beast for lunch, so I'd better get on it.

  5. Of course the first thing Parched Beth sees is the water droplet.

Enjoy Austin, Lisa - I hope to stop through there on my way south next month. I hear wonderful things about it.

YAY for the story being done, Maria! And a kitty? Nice to have some critter company around - hope it works out!

Thanks for the puppy pix, Farf - gotta love puppies.

Not sure what's on the schedule for my last day of vaca - beach walking, I believe, and frozen yogurt. And playing with my friend's new GPS - another convert!

Waving cool air across the states...

  7. Hope you're having a great time in Austin, Lisa.

Yay on the finished story, Maria! Enjoy the slacker weekend.

Love, Love the puppies pic, Farf. And the flowers were lovely.

I'm sure it will be a great day, Beth, whatever you decide to do.

Nancy, it was definitely lucky timing -- a few seconds earlier and the drop wouldn't have been ready to fall; a few seconds later and it wouldn't have been there at all.
