  1. Is this critter cage an experimental part of your jungle, Andi? The lizard, I could make out, but it took me while to be able to see the giant walking stick? How long is that sucker?
You'll give the buggy shy a start today.

Hubby leaving for a week in Lubbock. So will be quiet around here. As much as 5 cats, 2 dogs and a lizard can be. The herd is calming some. Springer not barking so much. Hommies are still hissy but two of the newbies are exploring more.

Silver-haired and Gray-Haired Goddess Love that Dina and Andi.

MaryB and all close your eyes and avoid the thermometer today. HOT is relative right now. After it hits 90blahblah you can't sweat any more than you already are.
    Stay shady and stay cool.

Poking the muse to get the words flowing.

Waves and Terrific Tuesday to all.

  2. Heh, that walking stick would make the lizard think twice about lunch.

Enjoy a quiet day, Lisa. I guess you won't have many more what with school ramping up.

Mason's still asleep, but so is Snippet. I don't trust her to get up, so I'm really reluctant to leave for work just now.

  3. Morning, Andi, Farf, Lisa, and all walking sticks and lizards. I've never ever ever seen a walking stick like that. Wow. That's a lot of body to drag along on four legs. In this heat, I'm feeling as if I have a lot of body to drag around on two legs.

  4. Ah, Andi, the neverending crawly fauna... ::g::

Hot. Hot. Hot. Did I mention it was hot? @ the mimes early today as I'm off to the doc for follow up later. Xray last night. I got a CD to bring to doc--needless to say, I took a look at it this a.m. I have no idea what I'm looking for. Good thing our receptionist was a med school grad. She told me there seemed to be a weak place in the bone. (Arthritis?)

Anyhow, I guess I'll find out more later.

Still working on short story. That sucker does *not* want to be finished.

    Terrific Tuesday, gang!

  5. I believe the critters were experimenting with how to get inside the house, Lisa.

Yep, I'm pretty sure that skinks' culinary tastes are rather smaller than that, Farf.

It's too much trouble for anything to even bother to move in this heat, Nancy -- which is why I had no trouble getting either photo.

Good luck at the doc, Maria.

  6. Morning all! Traveling yesterday, so missed posting. In SoCal today - San Clemente, actually. With bestest friends. It's been cool and rainy here - til I arrived yesterday. Clear skies now - my friends are thanking me for bringing the sun.

We're off to the beach, looking for a non-windy spot. Wish I could wave all this cool air your way!

Happy Tuesday, y'all. Will catch up on news later.
