  1. Ooh, I like the first one! Different!

Movers just called, and are coming at 7:30am instead of 2pm. So I'm off to run around like a headless chicken and get ready for their arrival. So far everything's going smoothly (well, except for the wet unit snafu yesterday, but that was easily resolved), although I still have no clue when closing is tomorrow.

Anyway, waving as I dash into the shower. Hope everyone that follows has a stellar day! Sit on the couch and relax a moment for me, since that won't be part of my day...

    Bye! (zoom)

  2. Good luck with the movers, Beth!

  3. Flowerz!!!

Mason treated us to a 5:30 wake-up call, and I didn't have much success getting back to sleep afterwards… so I'm a little earlier than usual in the stack here.

Hope it goes well, Beth. I know the headless chicken routine by heart: hurry up and wait.

  4. Morning, all!

Flowerz!! (quoting FarF and a certain cartoon character) Pretty!

Best of luck, Beth. At least this next step will be done.

Gray and rainy again here. Makes me want to go back to bed and get all comfy. Alas, I'm up and heading to mimes today.

    Happy Tuesday, gang!

  5. Beth, you gave me such a good laugh! You probably didn't mean for all of us to follow you into the shower. Good luck today, you headless chicken, you!

I think I'm actually going to write today. It's been a while.

  6. Good luck, Beth. I hope everything goes smoothly.

Rainy here but water yoga was great.

  7. Jumped on the bike at lunch to scope out an area of interest for White Pickups. I'm taking some liberties with the geography, but that only goes so far; dropping a subdivision in the middle of a road full of office parks just won't work. No prob, I was thinking it could go either way.

Speaking of rain, it rained at the office while I was out researching… had to putt through it on theceay to lunch. Wet legs!

    Happy writing, Nancy!

  8. Hi Farf, Maria, Nancy, and Dina. Had a too-much-in-a-day day. Brain tired. Complete sentences -- too much work.

  9. I had to go back and read what I wrote to see what you meant, Nancy. Too funny! It's a big shower, but not THAT big. :-)

Closing is at 1:30 tomorrow. House is packed and clean. Yay for sisters! Full of margaritas...heading to bed. Long day tomorrow. Last-minute details, closing, and drive north to leave my plants with friends before heading to Dizney on Thursday.

Hope your writing went well, Nancy!

  10. Thank you, Beth, but you can't go to bed yet. The Celtics need you. Man, what a first half my man Paul had! The Magic started acting like if they couldn't stop him, they'd kill him. More efficient in the long run, I guess.

  11. Yay, closing time! For me, too.

  12. My sister was watching Lost, so I missed the first half. I'll do my best to stay awake for the rest of it, Nancy - and hope that they give PP a break!!

  14. That was me double-posting, sorry! Too many margaritas, celebrating my last night in SWFL...

  15. He got 22 points (I think) in the first half, but man, they're beating up on the poor old guy.

Much better game this time, dammit.
