  2. Dashing through. Car repair this morning, lunch with a friend, my writer friend is staying here all day - who knew?, work to do, supposed to meet my realtor...my head's spinning and I'm still in bed!

    Pretty baby leaves!! And colors.

Wish I could hop on a plane and be there tomorrow, Lori! One of these days...

    It's Thursday, right? :-)

    Good luck, Lisa!

Hope everyone has an easy day...off and running!

  3. I can sprout you up all kinds of new life, Lisa, but I don't think I can get it in your classroom.

And she's off .... Have a good day, Beth, but don't forget to stop and take a breather every now and then.

  4. Morning, peeps! Loving me some FakeFriday today...

Baby plants are like baby stories--they need nurturing, care and feeding. I was going to withdraw from the par-rom antho, because my story is already past deadline and just not happening. The editor, Trisha Telep, was awesome, encouraging me and letting me know that it's probably not as bad as I think. She's going to give me loads of time, so I'm back in. I feel better now.

Hope you all have a fantastic day!!

  5. Morning!

The Boy actually used the "Little Susie" excuse for not coming home last night (i.e. fell asleep watching a movie). The question is, why was he watching a movie instead of bringing Snippet home? Lisa, I feel for you. At least you can send yours home at the end of a day.

Sometimes, I think Beth & I are moving fast enough to create weather patterns. Things *have* gotten weirder since both of us are living in the same corner of the country…

FM left a link to pix of his leg in my "week in photos" post. Lovely gold staples.

    Maria, yay for understanding editors!

Time to start working… The Boy is up and tending to Mason, but I think he just toted him upstairs to Snippet. I guess he's going to try getting back into Mrs. Fetched's good graces; if that doesn't work he can grab a chainsaw & wail on the trees behind the house. Later!

  7. Hallooo.

    Pretty planties.

And (from yesterday) yes, a most excellent sort of busy. Two actually.

  8. My baby plants just sit out there in the woods and do their thing -- which is fortunate because if they needed nurturing, care and feeding from me they'd be DOOMED! :)

Thanks for pointing out that link, Farf. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to miss that bit of loveliness. Yuck.

Hope you did get out, b2.

Yay for double excellence in busy, Kelly.
