Boring and annoying. Definitely not worth waiting for*.

* I'm hoping I'll do better with all of you this week since you don't have to wait for me to take the shots.

  1. I can almost see Bebo tapping a back foot, telling you to come on, Mom.
I say they are very lucky to have such a wonderful Mom to walk with them each day.

    Two days of solitude--nice.
Now it's back to the mimes for one week and then-The holidays. Will be a wild week. Kiddo brains get unplugged these days and rational thinking goes out the window.

    Marvelous Monday to All.

  2. Heh, they DO look bored and annoyed. They probably figure that you have some kind of unfortunate intellectual deficit that you keep holding up their walk to point the whirring flashy box at the ground and the sky.

Wes finally sat still long enough for me to snap a decent picture of his face. (If it were not shot with a cell phone cam, that is; new camera kit coming soon to a Jen near you.) He has still not grown into his ears, and since he's almost two, we're pretty much calling that a pipe dream now.

  3. Hope the week goes fast, Lisa.

Yep, Jen, they think I'm a bozo. I love the picture of Wes but can't wait to see what you'll do with the new camera.

  4. Kitty and pack shots - great way to start a week! The patience of a pet, putting up with us weird humans. Strolling through the woods with y'all in my mind...

On the downward slope to vacation (visiting family is NOT vacation, most of the time). Hoping the kiddos keep it together for a few more days, Lisa.

Trying to wrap my brain around what needs to be done to be gone for a week. And get ready for Christmas. Still trying to convince myself it IS Christmas, and not July. Maybe I need egg nog...

Hope your Monday is painless, folks.

  5. Morning, all! I spent yesterday blissfully offline and napping. My weird biosystems are just having a field day.

Guest blog up at Amberkatze's Blog, wherein I write about Texas.

It's going to be a LONG week - traded last Monday off for working this Friday (!!) - 'though, our company holiday party is that evening and will be fun. It's always casual and silly, not all formal with sit-down dinners, etc.

    Then, 4 day week and w00t! Holiday from 25th - Jan 4. Can't wait!

    Great week to all!

  6. Hm… they look more like a Disperse than a Pack… "Come ON, Mom!"

Hoping for a quick week here too, Lisa. I don't guess you can slip some Prozac into their lessons?

Hey Beth, I thought you were always on vacation! I really need a shot of snow to get into a Christmas frame of mind myself…

Enjoy that holiday party, Maria. Ours is Wednesday afternoon.

Got a contractor starting tomorrow, so today I need to see if Facilities got him a cube, IT got him a laptop, all that hoopty-do. It's my boss's job, but he's in Chicago with the group up there so he dropped that in my lap.

Not too bad, Jen… a bit grainy, but it kind of adds to the ambiance. I sort of see like that in low morning light, especially when I first wake up.

Waves to everyone else who swings by, I almost simul-posted with both Beth and Maria, so I'm glad I hit Preview…

  7. D'oh - forgot to add - if you all would like a holiday postcard from me - stop by my blog post here and leave a comment (private and seen only by me) with your snail mail name/address). I'll be mailing those out this week.

No need for reciprocity, I just like sending out cards!

    Cheers!

  8. I'm with you on getting organized, Beth. Our family Hanukkah gathering is Saturday and I really need to make myself a to-do list.

Sorry about the long week, Maria, but at least it will be followed by a long break. I liked your blog post and am glad I know have all the correct info on what is or isn't found in Texas Hill country. :)

They always have The Pack hivemind, Farf, no matter how far apart they are.

  9. Eek, my calendar is off this year, I almost forgot to say Happy Hanukkah to all those celebrating! :)

  10. Waves to all.

It's interesting how each member of the pack has maintained a distance from the others.

Our icy roads should be better today with the rising temperatures. We did some slipping a sliding yesterday.

    My latest painting is done!

Happy 4th (tonight) day of Hanukah!

  11. Neat photo of The Pack waiting, some more patiently than others, for Mom. :-)

All the best to you all and to all the rest.

  12. A conspiracy to make Bebo look MUCH bigger than the other dogs. What'd you get out of the deal?

    Poor sniff.

Heading over to see b2's finished painting.

  13. Is that the house, b2, or a different painting? I guess if it's the house I'll see it this Saturday at BT.

CF, they are all equally impatient. Some of them just hide it better than others.

Sniff says don't feel sorry for him -- he just positions himself to take off first once I get off my ass.
